Last Updated: [11/01/2026]

At Quranific, we care deeply about the safety and privacy of our young learners. This Privacy Statement for Children explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information for students under the age of 13, in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other international privacy laws.

Our Commitment to Children's Safety

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. We believe that parents should have full control over their children’s online data.

Information We Collect from Children

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for the child to participate in our online classes.

  • Registration Data: First name, age, and learning level (provided by the parent).

  • During Class: The child’s voice and video image during live lessons via our secure video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom/Google Meet).

  • Educational Data: Progress reports, homework status, and teacher feedback.

We do NOT collect:

  • Biometric data.

  • Geolocation data (GPS).

  • Social media profiles.

Objectives: Why We Collect This Data

We use this information strictly for educational purposes:

  1. To conduct the online Quran lesson.

  2. To track the student’s progress and memorization.

  3. To allow the teacher to provide feedback.

  4. No Marketing: We do not use children’s personal information for marketing, and we never build user profiles of children for commercial purposes.

Verifiable Parental Consent

Before collecting any personal information from a child under 13, we require verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian.

  • How we verify: We verify identity through the use of a credit/debit card or other online payment system during the enrollment process. This transaction serves as proof of identity and consent.

  • Alternative: Parents may also provide consent by signing a form and emailing it to us, or by contacting our support team directly.

When is Parental Consent Not Required?

In limited situations, we may collect information without prior consent solely to:

  • Respond one time to a specific request from the child (e.g., technical help), after which the info is deleted.

  • Protect the security or integrity of our website.

  • Respond to judicial process or law enforcement agencies.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell or rent children’s data. We only share data with service providers necessary to run the school, who are also bound by confidentiality:

  • Video Platforms: (e.g., Zoom) to transmit the lesson audio/video.

  • Payment Processors: To handle tuition (parent data only).

Parental Rights (Access & Deletion)

As a parent/guardian, you have the absolute right to:

  • Review: Ask to see what information we have about your child.

  • Delete: Request that we delete your child’s personal information.

  • Revoke: Refuse further collection or use of the child’s information (this will result in the cancellation of classes).

To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@quranific.com.

Security Measures

We use industry-standard encryption and strict access controls. Only the assigned teacher and authorized administration staff have access to your child’s learning data. All our teachers undergo background checks and strict privacy training.
